1. Description of Service

OloTree is a holistic child development companion and Learning Management System designed to bridge school and home environments. It provides vocabulary tracking, gamified learning paths for children, smart school diaries for parents, dashboard monitoring tools for teachers and administrators, and an AI-driven system to extract vocabulary from textbook images.

2. Account Registration & Roles

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account.

• School Administrators & Teachers: You agree to provide accurate school affiliation details and assume responsibility for inviting verified parents and assigning correct classroom permissions.
• Parents/Legal Guardians:You are responsible for creating your child's profile, configuring their daily practice limits, and overseeing their use of the platform.
• Security: You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

3. Children's Accounts & Parent Consent

OloTree prioritises child safety. Children under the age of 13 (or the applicable legal age in your jurisdiction) may only use the Service if their account is linked to a verified Parent/Guardian or verified School account. By creating a child profile, the Parent or School explicitly consents to the child's participation in gamified quests and vocabulary lessons.

4. Intellectual Property & Content Extraction

• Our Content: The OloTree logo, name, custom graphics (including the Olo character assets), software, code, and original educational material are the exclusive property of OloTree.
• User/Textbook Submissions: Teachers and administrators may upload images of textbook lessons to utilise our AI vocabulary extraction pipeline. You represent and warrant that you possess the underlying right or educational fair-use permission to upload such materials for processing. OloTree claims no ownership over your uploaded school textbooks.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service:

• To upload any content that infringes upon copyright, trademarks, or privacy rights of others.
• To introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious code.
• To bypass, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the security protocols protecting student data.

6. Limitation of Liability

OloTree is a collaborative educational tool provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OloTree shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the platform.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice through our smart diary system or via email before any new terms take effect.
